Shake, Rattle and Roll!

"Shake it, baby, shake!" " Shake your groove thing." "Shake rattle and roll!"

"Shake it" is one of my favorite phrases.  It just makes me all happy and giddy inside.  Doesn't it you?  Not only do I like to say it, but I like to do it!  I love to dance!  Anytime I'm happy about something, I shake it.  What is the "it," I'm not really sure, but I love to do it anyway!  ;)

I can most relate to David more than any other character in the bible.  I know there's someone in there that we all relate to best.  I think, if he were alive today, we would've been buddies.  And I know that there is someone in the bible who is like that for you, that brings reality and life to words of a character on a page.  If you haven't found that person in the bible for you, maybe you should start your own little search.

I also think we relate to everyone in God's Mighty Word at some point in our lives.  Just like God put bible characters into His Word for your own benefit, He also put people "now" into your lives for your own benefit.  Glean off of everyone around you.  Even those with bad attitudes.  Learn from them, shepherd them, pray for them.  'Cause somewhere else, someone is doing the same for you.  I know you don't think it, but we do irk some people's nerves at times.  I may be irking yours at this very moment!  I pray that I'm not though.  But we are at all different stages of life, and we all reach them all at different times, and in different orders.

Think about that today as you are looking for some guidance, someone to look to.  Find that "other half" of you in the bible, and read about their stories and how God either honored them or didn't, according to the actions they did, or perhaps didn't, take.

I pray God's guidance and blessing and clarification on you today!
