Anyhoo I find that in these extremes there is such a different atmosphere and way of life. In bigger cities, obviously there will be more crime just because of the greater number alone. But also, people feel they really have to fend for themselves. And I can firsthand say that people in NYC are so helpful and they really pull together to help each other out, as they did on 9/11. But there's still this fact that you've just gotta keep truckin', you've gotta look out for Number One. In a small town, everyone knows everyone and all of their business in between, even if it's not truth. And I like both. I like the big city and the country. They're just two totally different lifestyles. And they're both exhilarating in their own ways. We can find out so much about ourselves and others in both circumstances that each place brings.
I'd like to have Jesus with me when I go to these places, see what He would do exactly. What would he do while He was there... I mean, if he wasn't busy performing miracles...
I wonder if we live life all wrong, if we're even close to doing what He would do, spending our time this or that way. I dunno. Just a thought.
I pray you find new adventures and ways of life today, a new and exciting addition to your journey.
