(Perhaps what it was like when Jesus was in the garden with His angel as she releases Him to the world to die for our sins.)
I'm just gonna come to an abrupt start. Here we go: Always keep in the forefront of your mind that the enemy has a plan to destroy everything that is of God. Imagine what the spiritual world might look like. I personally believe that it is probably a constant battlefield. But the biggest battlefield occurs where? In your mind. But we have been given some really wise advice and information.
Jesus said that all the things in the Lord's Prayer is critical. All of it. Every single word. I think it's so cool that it even says to not even let us be tempted; to lead us from the enemy. Basically, you can pray for God to keep you from even being tempted. That's pretty cool, and I'm sure, pretty powerful and healthy for every aspect of your life.
The bible also tells us that the enemy is a murderer, who has no sympathy. He has a plan to destroy. He is a liar, a deceiver. He was once the star of the morning, but he chose to take on God. He will find the weak ones. He will also find our weak spots. He's very patient. His lies will captivate you, but the truth will bring you real freedom; this freedom you've been looking for in your search to discover who you are.
So in order to resist and fight against him, we must put on the full armor! We need our spiritual armor on all day! We need to understand his schemes. This is for real, people. I know this sounds almost ancient or surreal. But it is the truth. And how can you do this? You must pray on that armor. Pray for the protection in your mind, to receive the Truth.
Those of you who hear that little tiny itsy bitsy doubt in the tiniest back part of your mind that wonders whether or not, "well, PERHAPS there is a God who really loves me like this so-called "holy" bible says..." This is not a lie. God really does love you. Don't feel ashamed that you think this is a possibility, no matter what you believe and feel is logical. The enemy is very good at what he does, so don't think that you cannot be deceived. Even Jesus' mother doubted Him at one point. Yeah. Mary. The woman who saw an angel, became pregnant by a spirit, was ridiculed during her pregnancy (and no doubt her entire life from then on) just because of Jesus. Yeah, her. SHE even doubted Jesus. So don't think you are smarter than that. It's not about being smarter, or right, or not important enough for this so-called enemy to want to destroy your life. He wants everyone. He was destroyed, so he wants everyone else to go down with him.
I put this in your ear because I really do love ya, and for no other reason.
