So I'm watching the tele today, and I saw a "spot" on a news show about people losing their jobs, and strategies to try to get back in the market, even if its moving on to a different field than you were previously in.
It's getting tough for everyone out there. I know it's been hard, and getting harder everyday, for every type of job out there. Whether it be a large franchise, to a small business that's been around forever, from Broadway to news anchors... it's happening everywhere.
It may even be difficult for you to hear this right now, to look on the bright side of things when it seems so "dark" and hopeless and questionable out there, but you really must press on. There is someone out there that is looking out for us. Someone greater than any man. Someone who has been around longer than anyone you know. Someone who knows how the world works, inside and out. Someone who is not looking out for themselves first. On the contrary, it's someone who has always put you first.
And that someone will never change. That someone will continue to put you first. This difficult time in America is no challenge. Nicodemus, a prominent leader among the Jews, said to Jesus, "Rabbi, we all know you're a teacher straight from God. No one could do all the God-pointing, God-revealing acts you do if God weren't in it."
"All these God-signs he had given them, and they still didn't get it, still wouldn't trust him... Their eyes are blinded, their hearts are hardened, so that they wouldn't see with their eyes and perceive with their hearts..." John 12:37-40
No matter how much God has done for us, we still find ways to doubt Him. If you believe God's Word, The Holy Bible, then you have to believe ALL of it. Even this:
"For I know the plans I have for you... to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11
Believe in whole, or not at all! I choose to have hope. What else do you have?
